Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World ™

Please nominate an outstanding women for the 2009 Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World™ Award. Nominations must be received on or before 28 November 2008.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 50% current or past ownership of a public or private company;
Annual sales: Minimum $25 million (USD) or $5 million (USD) for nominees from third world countries;
The nominee must demonstrate that she is one of the foremost and respected female entrepreneurs in her country and/or within her applicable industry;
The nominee must demonstrate that she is well known and identified for her and/or her company’s involvement in either civic or charitable activities, or both;
The nominee must be easily identified as someone who would be considered a role model for other women and leaders;

Please Note: In order to receive the award, those nominated will be required to attend the 2009 Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World™Gala and Celebratory Event. Those who do not meet the above requirements will not be considered.
